Alamut Castle

Alamut castle aka the castle of assassins is one of the highlights of Alamut Valley. It has been the hotbed of many important events in the history of Persia and the home to one of the most sophisticated secret cults of the world known as Assassins. In this tour, we have an inside look of what has happened during the reign of Hasan-e Sabah, the founder of the assassins cult. Alamut tour without visiting the castle is not an option.

Hir Village

Hir Village in Alamut valley is the biggest producer of a special and delicious red berry in Iran called dogberry. This village is a neighbour of another castle called Lambsar, the biggest fortress of the assassins. In mid-August and September, many people visit the village to buy dogberry.

Local life

Eagle Castle is a local house in Alamut Valley with an interesting museum where we can visit how a villager used to live in the past. You can also enjoy the Iranian hospitality with variety of delicious local, home-made foods.
