Ameriha House | Kashan’s biggest historical house.

Ameriha historical House is one of the biggest historical houses in Kashan city whose history dates back to Zandiye and the beginning of Ghajar’s era. Ameriha House is not only a historical building, but is also a hotel with full facilities.

The architecture of Ameriha House

The magnificent house of Ameriha, based on the history and architecture is older and more different than all of Kashan’s historical houses. This complex with an area about 7000 square meters that consist of many separate and related houses, has 85 rooms and 5 yards that the oldest yards are Andarouni(inner) and Birouni(outer) that in each one of them other parts like porch, pond house, three-door rooms and seven-door alcoves (Shah Neshin) can be seen.
It should be said that Ameriha House has the tallest wind towers (wind catchers) among Kashan’s historical houses that has added to its beauty.

Underground paths

One of the unique features of Ameriha House is underground paths that connect the two parts of Ameriha House together.

Internal house decoration

Art and beauty consideration in Iranian architecture can catch your eyes in this house’s rooms. arts like Muqarnas, painting on plaster, wood engraving and other decoration arts were used.

Separate baths

One of the outstanding differences of Ameriha House is having separate baths specific for men and women which in that time’s architecture was not common. It should be mentioned that the historical bathhouse of Soltan Amir Ahmad is located near this house.
